RTIPP

December 17, 2018 @ 8:00 am - December 18, 2018 @ 5:00 pm

Please mail Elisabeth.Wilson@dph.ga.gov for registration information.

Each student should bring to class a copy of their agency/jurisdiction Emergency Operations Plan, a recent After Action Report from an exercise or actual event, applicable Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and your laptop.

Please keep in mind that the main focus of this course is to learn a process. The learned process is a systematic approach to identifying training and preparedness needs that are validated by real world data. The process can be applied at any level of planning to include local, county, region, state, agency or any combination. Finally, how the process is applied will be a decision that your entity will make during the initial discussions.

Coordinated regional planning will create a more prepared and resilient healthcare system. As a member, your agency will:

Build ties with healthcare organizations, emergency management agencies, & community partners.

Work together in the planning process to address regional preparedness gaps.

Gain access to training, exercises, and regional assets provided by Region E.
